Our Concerns and Demands

All these marketplace companies must act like Pure Marketplace companies. They should not be allowed to sell their Private Label products and also should not be allowed to create partnership companies and sell through them. These companies charge high shipping fee, high commission, and closing fees. Also when an item is returned from the buyer we have to pay return shipping fee and the commissions are still being charged why? If a sale doesn’t happen why commission is still charged. Forcing sellers to buy packaging materials which is again a very bad business practice. Flipkart blocked my account, saying packaging not upto Flipkart standard Packaging without any prior notice. What will a seller do in this kind of situation?? There was no prior email or any kind of communication. We have used all Good packaging but Flipkart says we didn't buy packaging materials from Flipkart and hence they blocked the account. Why flipkart didn't communicate to us and why they are forcing sellers to buy their packaging materials. All my packaging are green and we don't use plastics and we adhere to Maharashtra packaging norms as well. This story is posted by one of the sellers on Snapdeal.com Hello, I sell on Amazon, Flipkart and I get good sales, so I started selling on Snapdeal.com as well. I faced lots of issues on Snapdeal.com platform. Below are some of the problems: 1) I pack my items as soon as I get the order and update the status on snapdeal platform but the pickup boy will not come sometimes the pickup is delayed even by 1 week. Even after repeated calls to the pickup team they will not come. I used to take the mobile number of the pickup boys and call them for future orders but no one helped. Being a seller on Amazon/Flipkart/Snapdeal we face lot of problems. They will block our account at their discretion. They charge high commission fee and also high delivery fee. This results in that the seller has to increase the price and the whole eco-system is disturbed. Also the return policy of these sellers never help sellers. They just want to woo more and more customers at the cost of sellers and I am sure after sometime when they become market leaders in Retail they will not be seller friendly.
